interval calculator
interval calculator is a tool for musicians working with microtonality, just intonation, or any other activity that requires precise tuning of pitches. Given any pitch (specified by note on a grand staff or by frequency) and interval (specified by any base equal-tempered steps, ratio, or 12-TET cents), it calculates the resultant pitch. It can work silently, and it can play pitches as sine tones. If you understand this paragraph, then it might be useful to you.
interval calculator is inspired by Kyle Gann's excellent and encyclopedic Anatomy of an Octave.
interval calculator is available in three ways.
