On Sunday, April 8th, at 10 PM…
On Columbia University’s WKCR, 89.9 FM, I’ll be performing some just-intonation improvisations live on the air, on the Live Constructions program. In addition to these improvs, I’ll play a couple of composed pieces for solo violin, as well as debut a (recorded) draft of a recent piece for 12 multitracked violins. If you’re in the New York City area, tune in on the radio, or if you’re elsewhere, try the webcast.

I’ll be playing violin in Sam Pluta’s American Tokyo Daydream II for solo instrument with computer. ATDII is a noisy animal with buzzes and screeches and shimmers and static.
This is a part of the NIME conference, and the concert will be held at Columbia University’s Computer Music Center, at 632 West 125th Street.
